Welcome to Genii’s 75th Anniversary Birthday Bash. It’s our first convention, and we hope it will be among the most memorable you’ve ever attended.

We are planning three full days of events: close-up shows, stage shows, lectures, and surprises, all from some of the finest performers in the world of magic.

Activities will start Thursday at noon, so make sure to arrive by Thursday midday the latest!

Our dealer room will offer unusual treasures, and we’ll make sure that you actually have time to spend looking at all the goodies on offer, and hopefully buying some!

Our plan is to not overbook the convention: you will have time to hang out with your friends and no two activities will be booked at the same time so you will be able to enjoy every activity at the convention without conflict.

We’re proud to hold our convention at The Florida Hotel and Conference Center, just 6 miles from Orlando International Airport. Transportation from the airport to the hotel by taxi will cost you about $27 each way. Transportation by Mears Shuttle service is also available for $26 roundtrip per person. Finally, cars can easily be rented at Orlando airport and self-parking at the hotel is offered at no charge.

The Florida Hotel and Conference Center is attached to the Florida Mall, the largest mall in central Florida. This upscale shopping extravaganza features many fine department and specialty stores, and most importantly restaurants!  There are both sit-down eateries as well as an enormous food court, allowing you easy access to restaurants of all price ranges. The hotel backs up directly to the mall, and so within a few steps of the hotel lobby you can be in the food court. There are additional restaurants within a few minutes walk of the hotel.

The Florida Hotel and Conference Center also has two restaurants on its premises, and an extensive gift shop/convenience store with lots of snacks and drinks available.

Our hotel is located just 10 minutes from Universal Studios, home of two theme parks and the Wizardling World of Harry Potter, and 20 minutes from Walt Disney World, home of four theme parks, two water parks, and much more. Sea World is also very close, and if you want to watch raw chickens get tossed to live alligators for lunch, Gator Land is nearby.
